“HOW ARE YOU NOW?” – THE CONTINUOUS UPDATES OF ENGINEERING GRADUATES

Cognizant to the relevance of knowing the whereabouts of our graduates from the time they left the portals of our Alma Mater, the College of Engineering in cooperation with the CU-Engineering Alumni Association takes its initiative to trace and ask them; how are they now? What changes of their lives have taken place? Are their jobs relevant to the needs of the industries? And other relevant questions that shows the impact on how our graduates were molded in accordance to the vision-mission of the University.

In line with this, we now formally launch this first CU-Alumni project entitled:

“HOW ARE YOU NOW?” – THE CONTINUOUS UPDATES OF ENGINEERING GRADUATES

This project aims to record the relevant information of each graduate for traceability and possible linkage in the near future.

To attain this purpose, three possible schemes can be done. First, through the FACEBOOK and EMAIL accounts. Second, through the WALK-IN system. Please participate and be counted!

LONG LIVE CU-ENGINEERING ALUMNI!

ENHANCEMENT OF THE ENGINEERING LEARNING RESOURCE
CENTER: A TOOL FOR QUALITY INSTRUCTION

Quality instruction facilitates deep learning and begets quality graduates. While this is holistic in nature, several factors are recognized as contributory to it. One of these is the teacher factor which is based on the capability of the instructor to stir the minds of the students causing them to imagine and mend the theory and practice. This requires the instructors to be vertically articulated and be experts in their own field of specialization.

Coupled to this teacher factor are the facilities and the materials which aid the learning process for the students to easily assimilate the lessons.

The College of Engineering through the active participation of our engineering alumni was able to initiate some sort of fund raising activity the proceeds of which were used to help put up our LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER. The center includes the collection of lecture/instructional materials such as Courseware, Models/prototypes, Audio-Video equipments, Charts, Books, Magazines, Journals, Research Outputs and others. We are also very proud to tell our alumni that through our initiatives and with the full support of the administration and our engineering alumni our College has the most number of LCD Projectors in the whole university; actually five (5) units.

We would like to assure each and every one of you our dear alumni that what you have contributed to our college has really been fully utilized to the max as an aid to the learning process of our students. That is why we also would continuously appeal to you to please support this project by any means you can share to sustain this endeavor for the betterment of our soon to be ENGINEERS; our students!

Hence, at this juncture we are formally launching this project of the College of Engineering and the CU-Engineering Alumni Association entitled:
